The motto of Viki Marót and the Nova Kultúr Band goes: “Select the elements you like from the gems of the past, and using a lot of ideas and fresh impulses mix something new.” The band was formed along these guidelines in 2003. Leader of the band is Gábor Novai (Nova), composer and founding member of such great bands as General, Dolly Roll or Hungária. The programme of the Kultúr Band is compiled from the best tracks composed at this time. Such evergreen hits are presented in a new interpretation as Casino Twist or Isztambul. These songs can now be heard in new rhythm, new orchestration with the unique and authentic singing style of Viki Marót characteristic of the era.
