Ballet dancer, ballet master, choreographer of Walpurgisnacht
She studied the art of ballet at the Hungarian Dance Academy under the guidance of such masters as Zsuzsa Kún and Tamás Koren. Having graduated she began her career at the Hungarian National Ballet, where audiences had the chance to see her in numerous popular classics: Anna Karenina (Tarantella solo), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermina), The Miraculous Mandarin (Girl), In the Middle Somewhat Elevated (Female solo), Snow White (Little monster). She has toured in many countries of Europe as well as in Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Since 2002, she has also been known as a choreographer. Beside The Seagull, Me, Myself and I, Four Seasons, Fragilité, The Jungle Book, Eterenal Memory she is the choreographer of several operas: Serse, Tannhäuser, Ariadne auf Naxos, Carmen (which premiered last year), and Mefistofele (revolving around the Faustian theme). In the summer of 2003, her work, Chapter 2 was performed in Canada, where she received the Best Choreographer prize at the Saint-Sauveur dance festival. She received prestigious awards: the Harangozó Prize in 2001, The EuróPAS Hungarian Dance Award in 2005. She has been lead ballet master of the Hungarian National Ballet since August 2014. Her new choreography, Djamileh can be seen in 2015 at the FrenchLateNight production.
